MY 30 MINUTE MORNING RULE FOR GOOD SUMMER DAYS:
After too many slow summer mornings turned into unproductive days (and not because I was doing anything fun), I decided to add a little structure and set a timer for 30 minutes after waking up with the intention of leaving the house before it goes off. This gives me enough time to drink my greens, read scripture, and review my planner. Most of the time I head out for a walk, jog, or coffee run, but sometimes I simply step outside to the backyard to enjoy my coffee and grounding, while taking care of the chickens and garden.
The morning still feels slow and peaceful, but feels productive, gives me a little dopamine hit, and get’s the momentum going for my day. 10/10 recommend. Let me know if you give it a try!
