One of the best parts of Spring and summer is being able to eat al fresco! The photo above was captioned “French Picnic” and even though there isn’t a ton of picnic-y foods on this weeks meal plan, it seemed like the perfect reminder to take mealtime outside or romanticize those evenings where little league baseball games require dinner to go (even when it’s a smorgasbord from the store). Artichokes are on the menu this week and I can’t wait!
APRIL 15TH – 21ST MEAL PLAN:
- PIZZA PARTY MONDAY | Homemade Pizza (Gluten Free Dough & Classic Dough)
- TACO TUESDAY | Chicken Fajita Bowls
- FAMILY FAVE WEDNESDAY | Garlic Butter Steak Bites, Parmesan Smashed Potatoes, and Crudités
- THROWBACK THURSDAY | Leftovers :)
- BURGER & FRIES-DAY | Guacamole Turkey Burgers, Homemade Fries, and Sliced Fruit
- SOCIAL SATURDAY | Eating Out or Date Night (and something simple for the kids)… We have a busy week so know I’ll be tired by Sunday!
- SUPPER CLUB SUNDAY | Grilled Salmon, Butter Noodles, and Artichokes (looked so good last time I was at the store!) — Have the kids make a fun dessert or drink!
- BREAKFAST | Energy Bites, Egg Bites, Scrambled Eggs and Croissants, Banana Bread, Fruit, Homemade Granola and Yogurt
- SNACK & LUNCH | PB & Honey Sandwiches on Sourdough, Turkey Sandwiches, Costco Flautas, Energy Bites, Guacamole and Chips, Popcorn, Fruit, Yogurt & Granola, Hummus, Naan Bread, Carrots, Arugula Salad (swap salami with chicken for more protein!)
Can’t wait for artichokes and salmon on Saturday night! What are you looking forward to this week?
ily, Rae
