Hey, hey friends! Happy Thursday! And HELLO SEPTEMBER! Can you even believe it? I sure as heck can’t. Feeling a mix of readiness and sadness at the same time. This fall is looking so different compared to what I thought it would, just a short month ago, and I can’t help but feel extra appreciative of certain things and totally disappointed about others (sigh). Kinda cryptic and could get a little deep for a Thursday, so let’s change subjects and talk about these tailored pants and why you should snag a pair!
- They are so comfortable! Aside from not having an elastic waist, they’re like wearing sweatpants.
- You can dress them up or down (so easily) and wear them year round.
- They’re so comfy. (See no. 1)
- It’s so refreshing to have an option that doesn’t involve denim. (Your wardrobe will thank you.)
Basically, don’t sleep on this trend, mkay? And if you’re worried about needing tailoring, just remember that puddle pants are in. I’ve included a higher and a lower price point and both are hand or machine washable!
Wearing size 6 in the pants and medium in the top (both from Reformation).
Almost forgot about the sunnies! Unofficially (officially) the 3rd pair I’ve owned this summer. I swear it’s the blessing and curse of having a cheap pair… the irresponsibility that comes with them! Do you tend to be less thoughtful about things you didn’t pay as much for? Just me?
The planters 😍 GAH!
Also, can we talk about how baby tees are the cutest and give me all the Rachel Green vibes? Or maybe I’ll save for a later post!?
These pretty stairs make me want to play up the Spanish touches in our midcentury home. It’s so beautiful and such a good (and unexpected) mix. Kind of like pairing these elegant pants with practical shoes and a tee.
Do you like mixing different styles and flavors, or sticking to one!?
xx, Rae
