PRESS PLAY ON A WEEK OF SUMMER TO FALL OUTFITS

Hey beautiful friends! Over the last week or so I’ve been documenting some outfits to share for inspiration as we transition into fall. I tried to break it up into formulas to make it easy to shop your closet or look for something similar, but also linked details below. My husband helped put together an IGTV video too so I’ll share that at the bottom of the post (anyone else use the drag move when golfing?)! OUTFIT FORMULA NO. 1 |

Since I wore this outfit for family photos, I was going for something more effortless and styled it almost exactly how the skirt is styled on the Anthropologie site… do you guys ever do that!? Grab inspiration from Pinterest or online shops? Love the length and movement of the skirt and am excited to style it different ways over the next couple months including this weekend while I’m in L.A. for a quick visit and workshop! Tilly gushed over this outfit when I wore it so I had to add it to the roundup! Also love any chance to wear things for more than one season.

OUTFIT FORMULA NO. 3 |

Lounge or athleasure is my go-to for days at home when comfort is key, but I don’t want to feel frumpy or blah… I fully support spending money on this part of your wardrobe if you need it! You can feel cute, be ready to leave the house at any minute and be in sweats. IMO anyways :)

OUTFIT FORMULA NO. 4 |

I’ve been slowly adding wardrobe stapes to my closet liked ribbed tanks, white tees and simple but good quality sweaters and it’s totally paying off. Makes getting dressed so easy, especially as the weather changes and we’re adding more layers.

I wouldn’t call myself a prairie top or dress kinda girl (as much as I wish I was!) but the dark color, simple details and structure of this top keep things more grounded so I still feel like myself. I love having something in my closet that’s a little different than my usual uniform and have been wearing it on repeat!!!

This would be so cute with boots and a sweater as the weather cools down + because of the buttons, you can wear it over jeans!

Denim on Denim, joutfit or canadian tuxedo, whatever you call it, I call it my go to when I don’t know what to wear. Normally prefer pairing this outfit with boots or flats but we were going to be doing a ton of walking so stuck with sneakers.
