A little belated since I meant to share this post on Thanksgiving Day but I wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciate you!
Thank you for being here.
For being part of our fam.
For the endless encouragement, ideas and stories you share. I don’t take a single comment or email for granted.
And for letting me be a small part of your minutes, days and journey.
I love having this space as a journal for our family as well as connecting with others but what I hope most of all is that the photos, ideas and inspiration for everything from fun things to do with kids to parenting tid-bits and outfit inspiration serves and encourages you!!!
(a few silly pics my dad took of us over thanksgiving break at our cabin in Leavenworth, WA)
I share so much (maybe too much, lol.) but would love to get to know you a little better too. If you have a sec to tell me a little about yourself or leave a link to your blog/biz/social/project, I’d love to check it out!
xo, Rae

Love this! You know what is so crazy? I was looking at the Leavenworth cabin you rented because your pics looked so fun, and that is literally the same cabin my family used to rent back in the 90’s when I was growing up. Insane! Makes me want to stay there again now that I have a daughter of my own :)

Stop! That’s crazy! It’s my parent’s rental cabin that was like a second home to me growing up. You guys should definitely go back…. they’ve done some remodeling but I’m sure it will bring back lots of memories. xoxo

Just a stay-at-home mom, previous teacher, with a love for creating and crafting. I love your blog and the practical, fun and encouragement you give to us mamas.

Hi Lacy! You are being modest, lol… Stay at home mom is the best/hardest job. Do you miss teaching or plan on going back? Thank you so much for the sweet words and for being here! xoxo

Hi Rae, I don’t usually write back to blogs, and my sisters say that makes me a “stalker” because I read but don’t engage. Today I felt I needed to engage. I agree that no one is “just a stay-at-home mom”. It is one hard job but one that is oh so much fun and rewarding. I stayed home to raise our daughter and I was very blessed to do so. I tell all new Moms to enjoy every second because as you are seeing, time just flies by so fast. Now our daughter is all grown up and living on her own about 3,000 away from home. I am retired and have the title of “stay at home Mom with no children”, love my new job and title. I love sharing your family and story, it keeps me young and always puts a smile on my face. You are one awesome lady (and Mom). Hope you have a very blessed Christmas.

So cool Kevyn! And amazing that you raised a child independent and confident enough to follow her heart and dreams. I hope my kids feel and do the same, but am sure it will be bittersweet when it happens. Hope you get to visit often. Thank you so much for sharing!!! xo, Rae
