We have less than one month to the election so emotions are already high, but add to that the heartbreak and devastation happening in the world, domestically, and even in pop-culture and it’s enough to make a girl want to stay in bed. So here’s your reminder to do what you can (for most of us that’s prayers and donations) and then put down the phone, turn off the news, and do something that’s productive but also makes you FEEL BETTER. Here’s some dopamine (and other happy hormone) boosting activities to try.

- Give compliments 🥰
- Do something nice for someone else
- Practice mindfulness

- Schedule something to look forward to
- Organize your junk drawer/closet/nightstand
- Paint your nails
- Spend time in a place you think is beautiful
