A week into the new school year and we’re totally exhausted and for-sure missing summer (the rain ain’t helping people!) but we’re all doing our best to embrace the moment. Not sure about you, but college football, soccer season and pumpkin spice in my coffee helps take the edge off, along with a heaping dose of grace (upon grace) as we transition into a busy routine (holy heck).
Anyways, after making a video of dropping Ozzie off at college (you can watch that here) we thought it would be fun to do a video with the younger kids too. Here’s what they had to say about heading back to school…
I know I’m going to look back on videos like these and be so happy and thankful that we spent the time capturing their little voices and mannerisms at this stage and ages. Even my bigger kids, who seem so big today will seem so little in just another year or two. Gah!
If you guys are interested in learning how to shoot and edit video as away to bottle up your kids (fur babies count) and memories, please let me know in the comments! I’ve been trying to convince Johan that we need to put together an online course that is super user, busy parent + tech challenged, friendly! Since we shoot everything with my iPhone and Johan was self-taught at editing (which took a lot of time, but now he could totally simplify it for you) I know it would be good!
Hoping your first week of school was less exhausting than ours, lol. Thank God we’re all in it together!
