LITTLE BITES: 5 MINUTE MEZZE PLATTER

My family lives and dies by snack and cutie (charcuterie) platters for sustenance, pretty much all year long. I shared a list of fall inspired fixings in this post a couple years ago but thought it might be fun and helpful (for myself included) to share some variations to reference. Todays combo is Mediterranean themed and perfect for an easy happy hour. Plus the ingredients tend to be a little more appealing to adult taste buds so it doesn’t get devoured by the kids as quickly as other versions which is kinda nice.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • pita rounds
  • hummus
  • marinated artichoke hearts
  • roasted red peppers
  • assorted olives
  • cherry tomatoes
  • cucumbers, sliced
  • ounces salami
  • cubed feta
  • tabbouleh, delicious but optional
  • herbs to garnish, optional
  • extra-virgin olive oil, to drizzle
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, mix with salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • If you’re feeling fancy and have a couple extra minutes, try toasting pita bread in a little olive oil and za’atar (or similar) seasoning, in a skillet.
