Have you guys noticed all the sherpa clothing and accessory options, lately? They seem to be popping up all over and I’m here for it. Love the texture and casualness of it and am always reaching for my sherpa jacket this time of year. While I have serious doubts about how well it would hold up on shoes (ordered these as a trial) I couldn’t resist this sherpa purse at Free People.
If you’re feeling a little blah about your winter uniform, instead of buying all new stuff, just add in a fun purse to mix things up. Life is way too short to be bored and not do anything about it!
TOTE BAG (option here, here, here, + diaper bag here) / JEANS / BOOTS (similar) / SWEATER (from J.Crew, see notes below!)
A few notes on this sweater since I take my job as your personal stylist (self imposed title, lol), very seriously. I’ve been on the hunt for a good gray cardigan all season and wanted so bad for this one to be it. Here are the pros: the color is beautiful, the material lovely, the weight is perfect, and so is the “v” of the Cardigan. Now for the cons: the length isn’t the best (not horrible but not good) and there’s nothing giving it shape towards the bottom so it looks frumpy unless you’re in motion or bunching it up. Sigh. Sadly she’ll be going back. I’ll report back if I find another option!
Forgot to mention, I got a little chop-chop! Asked for a blunt cut and she gave me some under layers (so my hair doesn’t poof) and am loving it! What do you think!?
Would also love to know, what holes do you have in your winter closet!? What style posts would you like to see in the new year!?
xo, Rae
P.S. – more sherpa here!
