ever plan a coffee outing with friends, hoping for a few peaceful moments out of the house, a smidgen of adult conversation, and a yummy drink only to find yourself wrangling kids, wiping up spills and apologizing to fellow patrons, before packing up for an early departure? (please say yes…)
last month i had an experience similar to the above. so, last week after planning a coffee date with stacy (& son jack) and mandy (& daughter harper), i decided to come prepared with an activity that might occupy the kids longer than a drink and snack.
guess what? it worked like a charm and stacy was kind enough to document our coffee date so we could share!
HERE is the template for you to download and use at home or out and about.
it consists of 3 pages:
1. the snowman designed to fit around a cup. print this page on card stock.
2. a simple 5×7 card that should also be printed on regular size card stock.
3. a page of accessories for the snow man. you can also print these on card stock, then cut out and glue OR print on sticker paper and then cut out. we went the sticker route.
it was so much fun watching the kids assemble their snowmen and hangout together….
and we couldn’t sign off without sharing this kissing sequence above. the cutest!
if you have any comments regarding being out and about with kids, please share below!
